Who is eligible?
Columbia Law School student organizations are eligible to apply for the Innovation Grants.
Requirements
Pre-Award Proposal
Student organizations must provide a proposal including:
- statement of 300 words explaining how the initiative meets the Parker School’s goal of advancing the study of international and comparative law
- Initiative budget (including expenses not covered by Parker funding)
- Detailed project timeline including key milestones
- Evaluation plan explaining how the initiative will be assessed (e.g. participant surveys)

Award Process
We accept nominations on a rolling basis. Notifications of award will be made approximately 4 weeks after the application is received. The amount awarded will be at the discretion of the Parker School and will be informed by the proposed budget and the scope of work indicated in the research statement.
Post-Award Outcomes and Evaluation
After the project is completed recipients must provide a summary evaluation of the project. This should include:
- Project documentation (this may include video and/or photography, posters, agendas, etc. from funded events)
- A written overview of initiative outcomes (200-300 words)
- Analysis of information received from initiative evaluation
